Apatira Leads Engineers On Assessment Of Proposed Road Projects

The Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Dr Ahmed Apatira, demonstrated his commitment to infrastructural advancement as he spearheaded a team of engineers from the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila to conduct a thorough inspection and assessment of proposed road projects in the council area.

The slated road projects are poised to enhance the landscape of three prominent communities within the council area, namely Cole Street in Ikate Community, Ogunsanmi Street in Itire Community, and Adewuyi/Agboola Street in Ijesha Community.

Addressing the residents of these communities, Apatira emphasized that the completion of these proposed road projects will alleviate the challenges faced by road users and commuters in the respective areas. This is a significant stride towards bolstering infrastructure and fostering smoother mobility within the council jurisdiction.

In tandem with the inspection, the Chairman issued a stern warning against street trading in these areas, emphasizing the need to preserve the upcoming developments and maintain a conducive environment.
