Apatira Empowers Residents With Beneficial Equipments

The Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA, Dr Ahmed Apatira has empowered residents with series of money making tools and to make them independent to their needs as urges the residents to continue supporting his administration to impact more lives.

Dr Apatira made this appeal during an empowerment program tagged ‘2024 Micro-Enterprises Support Initiative’ held at the Agricultural Training Center, Odo-Olowu.

The program was organized to support residents and improve their lives. Dr Apatira expressed his commitment to the welfare and well-being of residents.

He stated that the empowerment program was a demonstration of his commitment to improving lives. “We thank God for the opportunity to execute this program. Many people are beneficiaries, and our residents deserve more.”

Dr Apatira reaffirmed his dedication to serving the people, saying, “I am committed to improving lives in the constituency, and by God’s grace, I will continue to do my best.”

Items distributed to beneficiaries included sewing machines, grinding machines, gas cookers, popcorn grilling machines, and other empowerment tools.

Beneficiaries were selected from various political party lines, regardless of their political affiliations. This indicates an inclusive and impartial approach to supporting individuals in need.

Notable dignitaries in attendance included Alhaji Ayinde Kushimo, Eng. Fatai Adelani, Hon. Andrew Olaoluwa Agbeyangi, Comr. Ibrahim Lawal, and representatives from various political parties and organizations.

The program fostered unity and social cohesion among residents from diverse political backgrounds and shows Dr Apatira’s commitment to fairness and equal opportunities for all.

The empowerment program was a success, and residents expressed gratitude to Dr Apatira and his administration for their efforts to improve lives in the community.
