Epe Division is buzzing with excitement as the Epe Division Community Annual Awards (EDCAA) officially unveils the shortlist for its 2025 edition, recognising outstanding individuals and organisations whose efforts are transforming the social and economic landscape of the division.
Organised by the Concerned NationBuilders Initiative (CNI), this year’s shortlist features a diverse array of nominees from grassroots activists and educators to entrepreneurs and traditional figures all united by their impact on local development.
According to the organisers, the 2025 edition aims to celebrate everyday heroes who drive growth through service, innovation, and collaboration.
“The EDCAA has always been about honouring those whose work uplifts others.
“This year, we’re seeing even more youth-driven initiatives, women-led enterprises, and civic-minded citizens making tangible differences across Epe Division.”
Past winners include Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, who bagged the Female Ambassador of the Year award in a previous edition a reflection of how the event spotlights women leading change in the community.
Beyond the glitz of recognition, the EDCAA has also evolved into a networking platform for collaboration among business leaders, public servants, and youth advocates dedicated to regional advancement.
With the shortlist now public, voting has commenced ahead of the highly anticipated EDCAA 2025 Awards Gala, set to take place later this year. The event will gather political figures, traditional leaders, media personalities, and residents of Epe Division to celebrate the area’s shared achievements.
As the awards enter another remarkable year, the focus remains on encouraging local heroes and inspiring others to take part in community-building efforts. The EDCAA’s continued success highlights Epe Division’s growing reputation as a model for grassroots leadership and civic engagement in Lagos State.
