Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Chairman Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, made an inspiring visit to two of the four centers hosting the ongoing Free Summer Coaching classes in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
At both centers, Anomo took on the role of a teacher, engaging students on the subject of Economics. Displaying his professionalism, He provided practical examples to explain how economics functions, relating it to real life examples and emphasized its importance to society.
The Chairman interacts with the students, assessing their understanding and rewarding 20 winners with an advanced pack of the Ikosi-Ejinrin Complete School Pack, which includes a school bag, 10 exercise books, a scientific calculator, a mathematical set, and a copy of the Oxford Dictionary of Current English.
All other students at the centers received free exercise books. Akogun announced that outstanding students from all the coaching centers will be award free GCE forms at the end of the program.
The Project Coordinator for the Free Summer Coaching classes, Hon. Sulaimon Yusuf, commends the Chairman for his initiative and for finding time in his busy schedule to personally teach the students, He noted that this act of leadership will serve as a lasting source of motivation for the young ones he added that Over 700 students are currently enrolled in the summer coaching classes.
The students expressed their appreciation to the Chairman and his team for organizing the summer class and employing qualified teachers. They noted that, apart from the knowledge gained, they have also had the opportunity to network and build valuable friendships.
The students assured to repay the favor by excelling in their studies and being good ambassadors of the LCDA at all times.
