As a means to extend the relationship between Alimosho Local Government and the Cuban Government, the Chairman, Hon Jelili Sulaimon has visited Sumertech, a leading Medical Equipment company based in Cuba, which once donated medical equipments to the local government health centres in 2020.
The visit which also include a 2-weeks training session for the medical team that attended with the Council Boss will be used to, understand the healthcare system operation in Cuba, benefit from the medical technology used in Cuba, and partner with the government on knowledge-based exchange program
The training, on the other side, will be based on the following areas, Laboratory equipment for infectious disease, rapid kit for fast diagnoses, Point Of Care test [POC] for community clinics, and molecular biology (DNA).
