The Council Leader of Isolo LCDA, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi (Alarape) has assured the youths in the council area of maximum legislative supports under his leadership.
Alarape made this known, yesterday when the leadership and members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Isolo branch paid a familiarisation visit to the legislative arm.
The youth organisation, according to its coordinator, Comrade Adewole Saliu, had come to familiarize with the leadership of the house ahead of another visit when the house resumes from its recess to meet with all of the seven councillors.
Saliu appreciated the warm reception his team received from the Council Leader and his deputy Hon. Kanayo Osondu promising that the organization will continue to live up to its responsibilities of enlightening and sensitizing the youths on the need to remain good ambassadors of the council and the state at large.
He appealed for support from the legislative arm for the youth organization most especially as regards speedy implementation of youth-oriented bills to support the youths in the council area.
Alarape, in his remarks, appreciated the visitation of the organisation and explained that just as the youths empowerment and support top the agenda of the council boss, Otunba Adebayo Olasoju so it is with the lawmaking arm.
He appealed to them to sustain their belief and confidence in the current administration emphasising that the legislative arm will do all it can to support the youth council and give quick consideration to youth-oriented bills raised in the chamber.
