The administration of Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, has reaffirmed its commitment to addressing the needs of residents by paying attention to crucial community details and prioritising the safety of lives across the council area.

As part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety, the Johnson-led administration has begun the installation of speed breakers in strategic locations throughout Alimosho to prevent accidents and protect road users.

“The safety of lives is our priority. The Wise Agenda is comprehensive, leaving no area unattended,” the chairman declared, emphasising his administration’s resolve to maintain order and safety in the community.

Also, in fulfilment of one of his major campaign promises, the chairman has also commenced the construction of Alhaji Bamgbola Avenue in Political Ward F, a crucial road that links Iyana-Ipaja to motorists heading toward Ikotun, Igando, and Ayobo.

The project, which forms part of his 100 days in office pledge, is expected to ease vehicular movement, improve connectivity toward Egbeda, and reduce travel time within the local government.

“We made a promise to improve road infrastructure and ensure safer communities and we are keeping that promise. Development must touch every ward in Alimosho,” Hon. Johnson stated.

The ongoing works reflect the administration’s guiding philosophy under the Wise Agenda, demonstrating practical governance focused on safety, accessibility, and inclusive progress.
