Ajao Estate residents seek Johnson’s support on roads, schools

The residents of Ajao Estate have appealed to the Federal House of Representatives member representing Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II, Hon. Engr. Ganiyu Johnson to help them with rehabilitation of some roads and renovation of schools in their community.
They said though they have been benefiting from some of his supportive programmes, their major request is the rehabilitation of road and school.
Speaking with ECHONEWS, the GAJ Coordinator in Ajao Estate Ward, Mr. Akinwunmi Jokodola, assured the residents of Johnson’s response soon, saying they should be optimistic on his principal’s intervention in the community.
Jokodola noted that the residents have been benefiting from Johnson’s programmes, stating that he has told his principal to do more for the community.
He said: “Even before making a request, Hon. Johnson has been engaging us on the challenges we are facing in our communities and I, as his coordinator in this ward, have tabled rehabilitation of some roads in the estate, construction of blocks of class rooms in Ajao Estate Junior Grammar School because the former building collapsed and other communal challenges we are facing before him. We’ve equally requested for transformer and he has promised to look into all our requests which we believe he will do.
