In a noteworthy occasion, Mr. Olufemi Ogunyemi, the elected Chairman of the Agura Alaru Community Development Association (CDA), marked the completion of his first 100 days in office.
This pivotal moment comes after securing his position through a democratic process, winning the votes of 52 association members in a fair election conducted on August 12, 2023.
As Mr. Ogunyemi took stock of his tenure, he expressed profound gratitude to the members of the community for their unyielding support and prayers.
Their collective encouragement has been instrumental in navigating the challenges and embracing the opportunities that come with leading a dynamic and diverse community like Agura Alaru.

The CDC Excos Ikorodu & Agura Gberigbe Forum received special acknowledgment for their unwavering support and encouragement during this early phase of his leadership.
A testament to his commitment to community development, Mr. Ogunyemi has already initiated and overseen various projects aimed at enhancing the well-being of Agura Alaru residents.

While expressing gratitude for the positive role played by the Lagos State Government, particularly in subsidizing transportation fares for Lagosians, Mr. Ogunyemi did not shy away from addressing a pressing concern.
He highlighted the challenging state of the Agura Gberigbe road, emphasizing the urgency of government intervention.
The chairman earnestly appealed to the Governor, urging immediate action to rectify the road’s current condition, which poses challenges to its usability and safety for residents.
