Nigeria chief coach, Jose Peseiro has blasted critics and revealed he’s unperturbed by their words.

The Portuguese has faced lots of criticisms since taking on the job as Super Eagles coach and the recent coming on the ground of Nigeria not scoring enough goals in the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

Peseiro said he doesn’t get moved by the amount of criticisms stoned at him anymore.

The gaffer disclosed he’s now immune to critics and admitted coaches will always be criticized.

“I don’t think about criticism again. If it was 20 years ago, I would have been affected by what the fans are saying about me,” Peseiro said at the Prematch Presser before the Angola game.

“But at this moment of my career, I’m 63-years old now, I have taken too much vaccine for good.

”There is always the good and bad media. The key thing is to maintain balance. Coaches will always be criticised. Everyone cannot speak well about me like I’m god or superhuman.”

The Super Eagles will clash with Angola at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Friday, February second.
