Nigeria midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf is in doubts to face Ivory Coast in the Eagles next Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) tie against the Elephants.
Yusuf picked up an injury in his debut for Nigeria in the 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan.
The Super Eagles holding midfielder didn’t train with the team as he targets full fitness ahead of the clash with Ivorians.
He said, he’s in better shape at the moment and sights making the Nigeria match day team against Ivory Coast.
”I’m not going to train fully today, but I should be back in full training tomorrow,” He told ECHONEWS exclusively.
“I’m getting better and should be available for the game against Cote d’Ivoire.”
Alhassan had an impactful performance in the Super Eagles game against the Nzalang Nacional (National Thunder).
