A female beneficiary, Olayinka Akera, who participated in the last year one month training on Electrical Installation and Fitting in Abuja has appreciated the Member of the Federal House of Representatives in Oshodi-Isolo constituency I, Dr. Bashir Dawodu for sponsoring her for the training, disclosing that she is preparing for the second phase of the training in February this year.
The training programme, organised by the National Centre for Women Development, was held in Abuja for one month after which certificates of participation were given to the participants.
She explained that the knowledge acquired from the training has exposed her to more advanced method of dealing with electrical installation and fitting.
“Because of Dr. Dawodu who sponsored my trip, accommodation, feeding and others, l was able to acquire the knowledge of electrical installation and fitting which has given me an edge and I promise to impart the knowledge to others in the community for greater youth development.
“We should keep praying for Dr. Dawodu for God to sustain his strength. l believe that he has so many good things in stock for Oshodi people because he is a man of his words.When he says it, he stands by it.”
While commending the lawmaker, the beneficiary pointed his achievements in the constituency to include construction of 32 blocks of classrooms in the primary schools across Oshodi, Primary Healthcare foundation laid in Ogundele Shogunle, 2,000 people empowered with different working implements in their field of works, 1,000 people supported with N10,000 each to develop their businesses, donation of Transformer to the community and others.
Meanwhile, Akera told ECHONEWS that she will be going back to Abuja for the second phase of the training in February as she prayed that the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic does not hinder the programme.
