Faleke 3-Days Free Medical Outreach Begins Today in Ikeja Constituency

Today a three-day free medical outreach program tagged ‘Balancing Wealth on Health’ has commenced in front of the Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area’s traditional ruler’s palace. Initiated by the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke, the program has been warmly received by local residents.

 

Echonews reports that the event forms part of Faleke’s commitment to serving his constituents by promoting their well-being and addressing healthcare needs.

 

 

 

The ‘Balancing Wealth on Health’ medical outreach will continue its three-day journey with a stop at the Ikeja Central Mosque on Obafemi Awolowo Way, Isale Awori on October 26, 2024. This location will cater for residents of Ikeja Local Government Area, providing them with access to much-needed free medical services.

 

On the final day, October 27, 2024, the program will be concluded in front of the Aguda monarch’s palace on Kokumo Street, Aguda. This strategic location will allow residents from the surrounding area to benefit from the free healthcare initiative, demonstrating the commitment of Faleke to reach and serve as many constituents as possible.

 

 

The three-day medical outreach successfully addressed the health needs of the communities it visited while highlighting the importance of collaboration between local leaders and government representatives in improving public health outcomes.

 

 

Residents are expected to undergo medical checks for the following diseases: Dental check, cleaning, whitening, and extraction; malaria test and medication; diabetes test and medication;;H-Pylori (ulcer) test and medication; ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) check and medication; typhoid test and medication; Hepatitis B test and counseling; and Arthritis check, medication, and physiotherapy (massage)
