Moyosore Pledges Commitment To Enhancing Welfare And Infrastructure In Public Schools

In a dedicated effort to enhance the quality of primary education within the Kosofe Local Government Area, Mr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, convened a pivotal meeting with headteachers from the local government’s public primary schools and vocational centres.

The primary focus of this meeting was to address the essential aspects of primary education that require improvement, and to collaboratively develop strategies for achieving educational excellence in the local government area.

During the meeting, Ogunlewe unveiled plans for a comprehensive welfare package designed to benefit both staff and students in Kosofe’s 18 public primary schools.

“Our administration recognises the pivotal role of primary education in shaping the future of our community,” Ogunlewe stated. “These commitments reflect our dedication to creating a conducive environment for learning and teaching in Kosofe.”

The concerted efforts being made to revamp primary education in Kosofe were further evident in the presence of key education officials at the meeting, such as the Education Secretary of Kosofe Local Government, Mr Babatunde Soneye, and Head of Department for Education and Library Services, Mr Nasiru Shamsideen.

Chairman Ogunlewe affirmed the local government’s commitment to implementing necessary improvements, assuring the attendees that the development of implementation plans would be expedited and progress updates would be shared with all stakeholders.
