The Former Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Mr. Shola Adekunle has passed away in the early hours of yesterday, Monday 2nd 2024.
Adekunle who was the former Chairman handed over to the current Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Mr. Jelili Sulaimon.
In a statement released by the Local Government, Jelili joins family and friends mourns the passing away of his predecessor.
He writes “On behalf of the good people of Alimosho Local Government, I join friends and family to mourn the passing of a former Chairman of our local government, Mr. Sola Adekunle who passed on in the early hour of today, Monday 2nd September 2024.
As a former Council Chairman, Mr. Sola Adekunle was valuable to the development of our dear local government. His contributions and efforts in the area of welfarism especially was built upon by me to lift Alimosho to the present height.
His moral supports towards encouraging good efforts of the present day government is inspiring. He usually do his part to commend good efforts so that it can be continued and call attention to those that still require adjustments.
He will forever be remembered by the good people of Alimosho.
May God grant the family the fortitude to bear this loss.
