The Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) have thrown its weight behind the annual elite grassroots football tournament, Atlas Cup.
The Atlas Cup is set for kickoff as 64 teams battle for the top prize with breathtaking performances providing competitive atmosphere. The competition which is in its 11th edition is scheduled to start on Saturday, August 31 at the GBAJABIAILA mini stadium Coker Atlas toll gate Orile
The LOC of the competition is spearheaded by Mr Chukwuemeka Onyebuchi and other sport enthusiasts.
Chairman of BDFA, Dr Osondu Martins said he’s ecstatic over the success recorded by previous editions of the Atlas Cup as he’s optimistic this year’s event will be glamorous.
Managing Director of Alzico company, Mr Abraham Santhosh pledged that this year’s edition would be spectacular as they would ensure an hitch free tournament.
The Alzico company have an huge contributions to the growth of minkind as 15000 youths have benefited hugely from the previous editions.
Over ten million naira is up for grabs at the five tourney and the 64 participating clubs will be given set of jerseys at the football event.
