Madam Abike Fregene celebrated her 80th birthday in Lagos at the Modupe Cole Memorial, Akoka, Lagos which also climaxed with her son, Dr Paul Fregene official declaration for the post of Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA for the 2025 Lagos State local government elections.
The event was a colorful one week which attracted different personalities from all walks of life.
The less privileged and people living with disabilities from Modupe Cole Memorials also joined in celebrating Madam Abike who have reached the Octogenarian age.
An eminent personality that graced the occasion, Justice Doris Tomilayo Okuwobi (Retired) praised the celebrant for impacting values and great virtues to people that came her way.
“Mama is wonderful mother in Israel, a loving mother. She has led us over the years with very good values and virtues. She’s a wife that you can never find in any generation of women, she’s God fearing and very respectful.
“Mama has worked very hard all her life, she’s involved in church activities all her life in her Holy Micheal Church. She has served and dedicated her life to the service of God in the church and even in her neighborhood. She has been a mother to all children in her vicinity and God has blessed her with agility and good health.”
The celebrant, Madam Abike said she’s elated to celebrate her 80th birthday with her children, grandchildren and loved ones.
She urges the youths to shun social vices and emulate good behavior that will set them on the part of success and achievements later on in life.
