In line with commitment to improve the quality of life for residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, particularly in addressing the critical issue of electricity supply, the Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, announced the acquisition of three (3) new 500KVA power transformers.
The transformers will be installed in 3 communities, Ododugba Community, Mosafejo Community, and Otta-Ikosi Community. These comunities had previously appealed to the council assistance in replacing their faulty transformers, which had significantly distrupts their economic activities.
During the Official handover to councilors representing the three communities, Mr. Hassan, Mr.Wahab and Mr.Selim at the council Secretariat, the chairman reiterate his commitment to alleviate the challenges faced by residents and assured that no community would be left in darkness.
The recent acquisition adds to the twelve 500KVA transformers and one 200KVA transformer already procured under his administration. The Council has also provided assistance in energizing some transformers and allocated funds fothe repair of others, demonstrating its dedication to ensuring a stable and reliable electricity supply across the LCDA.
