A cultural Group by the name: Conference of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 and 2 Igbo Ethnic Women has drummed support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) party as it express readiness to gather more votes for the party.
The group is a foremost association comprising of women of caliber from the South-East, residing in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area.
The convener of the group, Dr. Vivian Obi said the group is apolitical and concerned themselves majorly with the uplift and good welfare of its members.
“We are women of worth from the South-East and we are domicile in Oshodi-Isolo Local Government. After a thorough and critical examination, we have decided to endorse the APC and not only endorsing them, we shall also organise Project 5Alive which will make us sensitize our fellow women on a one-on-one and door-to-door basis.
“Starting from Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Isolo and Ejigbo Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to Lagos at large.
“We have also engaged and studied the pedigrees of the APC candidates and we are confident they have the needed capacity to discharge accordingly, hence, we shall support them and convince others to do same.
“As part of the unveiling, they shall organize a peaceful walk which will start from Oshodi-Isolo local government secretariat through Isolo to end in Ejigbo.”
