After separating from the group for quite a long time, the acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Hon. Saheed Animashaun has returned to the Justice Forum group led by Pa Joseph Olabintan.

Prior to the disbandment of all caucuses in APC by the party leadership across Lagos State, one of the caucuses in Oshodi-Isolo LGA, Justice Forum, split into two due to leadership tussle. Pa Olabintan led the mainstream group while the late Alhaja Modupeola Ariyoh led the other group.

However, Animashaun said he has come back to be identified with the mainstream, saying there is a need for him to be seen as one of the members of the group.

“I am fully back to the mainstream of Oshodi Justice Forum led by Pa Olabintan. As the group slogan says, “Justice shall prevail”. With my coming back, justice shall prevail and henceforth, I have decided to remain with the mainstream.”

Animasaun was received by the group at a well-attended meeting of the leaders and members of the group at the residence of PA Olabintan.

Pa Olabintan, while accepting Animashaun back into the fold, described him as “a child who has wandered out of his pathway but later recognised to trace his way back to the root he belongs.”

The Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsaya who was present at the gathering expressed his joy over the step taken by Animashaun, asking him (Animashaun) whether he has totally left his former group.

Responding, Animashaun assured the group leaders and members that he was fully back and would abide by its rules and regulations.
