The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Ejigbo Police Division, has embarked on the construction of parade stand for the station as one of the structures needed for the commissioning of the newly built police office.
The PCRC Secretary, Mr. Antonio Moore, said the project is to put the place in proper shape for the yet-to-be-dated commissioning of the new office block.
The parade stand is said to be part of the ceremonial part of the police force which serves as a point where dignitaries are saluted during ceremonies..
Meanwhile, Moore informed that the date for the commissioning of the one storey building will be announced as soon as all stakeholders meet and the local council chairman gives the go ahead.
He noted that all necessary things have been put in place for the commissioning, saying it has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
