In compliance with the directive of the Lagos State Government, Aswani Market day has been shifted from Tuesdays to Wednesdays by the Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Hon. Shamsudeen Olaleye.
The shift, according to the council boss, is necessitated by the fact that Tuesday does not fall within the days earmarked for opening of markets by the state government.
The State Government has ordered that markets be opened only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Olaleye therefore appealled to marketers to take advantage of the widow provided by government to conduct their tradings on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays.
“The shift In market day will remain until further directive by the state government on its curtailment plans on COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
