Oshodi-Isolo, Maboju CDA completes 3 projects in one week

Out of the five Community Development Associations (CDAs’) mini projects inspected and certified to be funded by Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Chairman, Hon. Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, Maboju CDA has completed three different projects with the fund.

 

The sum of N500,000 was released to Maboju CDA chairman, Alhaji Memudu Olawoyin on Thursday, November 14, 2019 to complete the three projects earlier initiated by the CDA.

They are the construction of three security gates at Majekodunmi street, Anike street and the  canal side by Majekodunmi; repair of broken gutters along Majekodunmi street and reactivation of four electric street lights.

 

The CDA was the first to execute the project with the fund as it completed and commissioned the projects on Thursday, November 21, 2019, a week after receiving the fund.

According to the CDA chairman, the project gulped N400,000 while N100,000 was used for supervision as ordered by the government.

 

During commissioning, the LG chairman expressed joy and satisfaction over judicious use of the fund by the CDA, saying it was able to execute much projects with the grant.

 

He also used the opportunity to inspect the condition of Shogunle Primary Healthcare centre (PHC) and promised to put it back into good shape.

 

Responding to Olawoyin’s appeal to also look into their roads, he (Ariyoh) asked them to exercise patience, promising that every challenge would be attended to bit by bit.

 

Baale of Shogunle, Alhaji Rafiu Ajisegiri appreciated Ariyoh’s effort towards developing the community, praying that God grant him the strength to take the development round the other CDAs.
