64 CDAs to pay N320k to fund CDC N150m Community Hall

As part of their support towards raising of N150 million for the completion of the Community Hall building project, the Community Development Committee (CDC), Oshodi-Isolo LG has charged the 64 Community Development Associations (CDAs) under its umbrella to contribute N5,000 each.
The project was started by the former CDC chairman, Alhaji Rasheed Alamutu during the tenure of the former Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Ipesa Balogun.
The Balogun-led administration then released N9 million which was used to build the ground floor of the hall which the CDC maintains till date.
Meanwhile, the current CDC led by Alhaji Adisa Olawoyin is trying to raise the building by another two layers to make it a two-storey building hall.
He appealed to voluntary donors and philanthropists to contribute toward the realisation of the project.
The CDC chairman (Olawoyin) commended his predecessor for initiating and commencing the project while appreciating the support of the former local government chairman in raising the fund used for the project.
He also applauded the outgoing council chairman, Hon. Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh for his constant commitment to community development.
Olawoyin appreciated their benefactors including the Member of the Federal House of Representatives in Oshodi-Isolo constituency I, Dr. Bashiru Dawodu; Commissioner for Housing, Hon. Fatai Akinderu; All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate, Otunba Kehinde Oloyede; the Chairman of National Union of Road Transportation Workers (NURTW), Lagos State, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsaya (MC Oluomo); Iyaola General of Oshodi-Isolo, Alhaja Chief Mrs. Sikirat Adeyanju and others, urging them to do more especially for the CDC hall building project.
