The Chairman of Isolo LCDA, Olasoju Adebayo has described the Lagos Red Line Rail Project being commissioned today as a justification of President Bola Tinubu’s vision and succession scouting in the “Centre of Excellence”.
The council boss’ assertion was contained in a release from his media office this morning in reaction to President Tinubu’s expected arrival in Lagos state to unveil the world-class project.
Excerpts: “Having the ‘city boy’ back home to unveil the Red Line Rail Project which he envisioned over two decades ago says a lot as it concerns the loftiness of the idea enshrined in the Lagos masterplan of Tinubu’s administration.
“The eventual commissioning vindicates President Tinubu for his keen interest in the successive emergence of governors that have mounted the saddle since he left office as governor of our dear state. I’m particularly glad to, on behalf of the good people of Isolo, welcome him home as he performs the unveiling of a project he set his eyes on many years back in no less a position than the president of the nation” Olasoju wrote.
Meanwhile, the council boss joined the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and other top personalities at the Ikeja Terminus of the Red Line where the commissioning and first ride took off from.
