The CEO of 316, Ogbu Ogbonnaya popularly known as Scrow said the recently held scouting program done by his sport company is to tap into the wealth of talented football players in the grassroots and give them international exposure.
Over 50 players participated in the 316 scouting program in Elepe, Ikorodu but only five players were picked at the end of the three days scouting program.
Scrow noted that the names of the five players picked will be disclosed officially at the day of the unveiling of the players.
“The purpose of the scouting program is to actually scout and get players who are really good at what they do and see what we can do to push them beyond the level they are and to international exposure.
“So far, we have been able to spot five players that we feel they are good in this business.
“The plan is to manage the players and push them beyond the Nigeria league to our European contacts, while some will be developed here in Nigeria before they move outside the country, so for now, we have to manage and help them develop as time goes and see how they progress in the game.”
