$300,000 WASH Projects Initiated In Ojodu LCDA

The Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Projects launched by Kimberly Clark Corporation have benefited Ojodu LCDA under the chairmanship of Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku.

The $300,000 projects, which were located in the Ojodu and Ikorodu North LCDAs of Lagos State, would ensure that the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to make available and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all fulfilled as individuals can have access to good water and hygiene practices.

At Omole Senior Grammar School in Ojodu and Oke-ira Junior High School in Oke-ira, new boreholes were built and restrooms were renovated thanks to the work of Kimberly Clark Corporation.

Additionally, the provision of the WASH facilities supported the Executive Chairman’s HEYS Mission (Health, Education, Youth Empowerment, and Social Infrastructure) efforts to create a more livable and congenial environment for everyone.

At the handover ceremony, Hon. Olaide John Bello, Secretary of the Local Government represented the Chairman at the occasion thanked the donors for their kind and humane act, and pledged to build on the momentum by constructing more facilities of this type.

Traditional leaders, legislators, supervisors, the chairman of the CDC, officials from TGPS, the management team, Wateraid, and school representatives were also present for the handing-over ceremony.
