30 Youths Begin Solar Training in Ojodu LCDA

About 30 youths in Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) earlier yesterday have begun Solar System training in the area.

The training which is facilitated by the Chairman of the council, Mr. Segun Odunmbaku led administration in partnership with Exceltric Technologies Limited, a Renewable Energy company that specializes in deploying Solar System solutions will be providing the needed skill training on Solar PV systems.

The initiative which is in line with the Youths Development pillar of the administration’s H.E.Y.S Agenda is training the youths on
Introduction to Renewable Energy Projects, Energy Audit, Solar PV design, Solar System installation, System Maintenance, Safety, and Entrepreneurship.

The Council Chairman in his remarks to participants of the training said his administration has a robust policy on Renewable Energy which aims to engage the trainees gainfully and equip them with tools as it plans to electrify schools, street lights, and public facilities on solar systems while deploying local content development through graduands of the training in it’s implementation as a launchpad for their careers in the solar industry.
