2025 Chidinma Okeke Cup: Courteville FC Crowned Champions

Courteville FC came from a goal down to defeat Golden Planners 2-1 and emerged the champions of the second edition of the Chidinma Okeke Cup at the Ejigbo Mini Stadium, Lagos.

Golden Planners started the game as the brighter side took the lead deservedly in the first 45 minutes.

Courteville FC were dominated by the Golden Planners FC in the first half as they searched for redemption.

Golden Planners took the lead to the break leaving room for more goals in the second half.

Courteville FC improved on their first half display as they dictated proceedings while pegging their opponents to their own half.

Courteville FC possession later got vindicated as they found their equalizer from close range.

Courteville FC took the lead in the 85th minute from a defensive blunder which changed the dynamics of the game.

Golden Planners came out blazing after conceding two goals in the second half but their best effort hit the crossbar at the last minute of the game.

Courteville FC stood tall and grind out the win to reclaim the Chidinma Okeke Cup second edition title for the second time in a row.
