2024 NSF: Team Lagos Thrash Ebonyi In Women’s Basketball With Dominant Display

The Lagos State women’s basketball team thrashed Team Ebonyi overwhelming with a decisive 87-32 victory at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Team Lagos asserted their dominance from the start of the game by quickly establishing control of the game.
Their offensive prowess saw them finish the first quarter with a significant 24-10 lead, which they extended to 42-18 by halftime.
The “Eko girls” maintained their intensity in the third quarter, pushing the score to 67-29, before ultimately securing a resounding 87-32 win to their group.
Team Lagos basketball coach, Shomala Shola, emphasized that the match served as a crucial preparatory step while highlighting the need to improve their defensive strategies.
“We are going to really work hard in our next game. This is just to help us know where and what to correct in our games. We have seen that on our defense,” she said.
“We need to work harder and then the team defense. We are going to concentrate on it in our next game.”
Team Lagos basketball captain, Theresa Ebiega shared her coach’s sentiments while expressing strong confidence in the team’s ability to continue their winning streak to have a podium finish.
“We’re going to build on this and get stronger as a team. We are going to play hard, coming hard and winning the next game.”
