Residents had the chance to interact with the council chairman and express their needs for their own communities during the stakeholders meeting. Among the things asked for are water, roads, and school empowerment, to name a few.
After carefully listening to the people, Oloyede pledged to build a suitable hospital where locals would have access to timely medical care once the required approvals were obtained.
He said; “I am delighted to have our people give their inputs into the budget. The 2024 budget stakeholders meeting is an avenue for us to interface with our people and know what they need in their respective domains so that it can captured in the next budget.”
I implore all to contribute so that we can have a robust budget that could captured the needs of our people.”
Oloyede also pleaded with the people to pay their taxes and levies on time, emphasizing that this is how the local government raises money for initiatives.
