No fewer than 107 trainees of Surulere Local Government Institute of Vocational Education have graduated from the institute.
They comprise the 2020 and 2021 batches. The graduation was held at Akerele PHC.
The Institute graduated students in various skills including Catering and Food Nutrition, Hairdressing, Make up and Cosmetology, Fashion and Textile making.
No goal was ever too hard to accomplish, failure is not an option, so keep your mindset on the bigger picture, Hon. Muiz Dosunmu, the council vice chairman, advised the graduates.
Hon. Muiz Dosunmu, who also doubles as the Supervisor for Education, urged them to be up and doing and make use of the skills to their advantage.
Also speaking, the Council Manager, Mr. Habeeb Buhari, said hard work, dedication and wise decision making will help them accomplish their goals.
The Chairman, House Committee on Education, Hon. Olubunmi Philips encouraged them to visit Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) Office at the Council Secretariat and present their certificate to acquire a loan to start their businesses.
